my first trip to Batam...

my first Batam trip ever... nvr liked tis place as i've heard ugly n dirty stories of it... but since loverboy is unable to take long leave, tis is the only place which we ken go for a short break... the experience was good, perhaps with good n enjoyable company... Jon, Veron n Veron's parents were very comical... esp, Auntie n Uncle's squabblings... hahaha... i guess dats wat u'll do when u get old... takin' things easy...


n the hotel was very nice... well i think it's the BEST n cleanest newest hotel in Batam... it's called i Hotel... http://www.ihotelbatam.com/ go chk it out...

the room's really spacious... it's a Deluxe room... n it's very cheap! about SGD70...

look! the hairdryer is very cute! there's a heart shaped button... tried pressing it many times but can't figure out the use of the button...

A&W!!! been waiting to eat it... miss the good'ol days in sec skool...

went to the hypermart to do some shopping... things are realli cheap... u ken really buy here n stock up... look! the beer is less than SGD2!

so old skool!!! i used to have many of these at home...

head on for a massage! totally relaxing...! very very cheap!!!....

they'll serve all the food n will only charge u for those you ate... ken u imagine?! they actually "know" which ones u ate!!!??? but its raher unhygenic... imagine ppl's saliva spatting all over when they tok across the table!... well, "dirty eat, dirty big" (in hokkien)... LOL...

i can't believe it... my loverboy's gonna wear the hotel slippers onto the streets!... gosh...

went for roadside satay...

so many of them but loverboy picked the wrong stall... luckily Jon bought from one which was super nice!!!... we had satays for 2 nites for supper...!

had too much time to waste... haha... R&R at the cafe...

tis is wat they call "cream bath"... they'll wash ur hair, put on treatment cream, massage ur head and arms for less than 10 bucks... dun think Singapore salons will waste their time n effort to earn tis bit of dough...

went to Golden Prawns to have seafood... SHARKS!!!

very fresh! they will pick on the spot for u... n i ate half kg of cereal prawns! haha... but they were all small prawns... so not satisfying at all... it was very cheap, we ordered 2 kinds of crab, 1 kg of prawns, 1 fish n 1 veggie it only cost us SGD110 (for 6 ppl)...
